By using Elovate you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Elovate is
Elovate is a game that scores the quality of the food you log and ranks you against friends and other players. It is for entertainment and motivation only. It is not medical, nutritional or health advice, and it does not measure calories or weight. Talk to a qualified professional about your diet and health.
Your account
You can start as a guest and later add an email or Apple sign-in. You're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use Elovate.
Community rules
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Usernames, display names and anything else you create must not be offensive, harassing, hateful, sexual or otherwise objectionable.
You agree not to:
- Choose an offensive or impersonating username or display name.
- Harass, threaten or abuse other players.
- Cheat, automate or manipulate scores, ratings or leagues.
- Attempt to reach other players' private data, including their meals and photos.
We filter names automatically, and every player can report or block anyone from inside the app. We review reports and remove violating content and accounts, typically within 24 hours. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, without notice.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and meals you log. They stay private to you; only your scores, streaks, rank, username and display name are shown to others. You grant Elovate permission to process your meal photos in order to score them.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app: You > "Delete account and all data". See the deletion page for details. Deletion is permanent.
Disclaimers and liability
Elovate is provided "as is", without warranties. AI food scoring is an estimate and can be wrong. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elovate is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its scores.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
